WELTEVREDEN GAME FARM – HUNTING RULES
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS:
No hunting from or within 500 meters of hunting vehicle except in outstanding circumstances and with the written consent of the owner.
Fire only allowed in location boma.
No littering
No use of private vehicles on farm
Movement on farm can only occur in the presence of authorized farm personnel.
Only 8 hunting parties on any given time allowed in veld.
No shooting of birds, reptiles or other except as on species list.
No pets.
If management judges or decides that a hunter is under the influence of alcohol and that he is a danger to others, he will not be permitted to hunt by order.
The owner and staff does not accept any reliability whatsoever for any loss, damages or injury encountered during your game hunt/stay at the farm.
At our farm you are at all times at your own risk. Remember there are dangerous animals.
The person who makes the reservation is responsible for the camp/ damages' / breakages, and all accounts that are not paid.
All accounts must be paid in full before your departure. SHOOTING IN OF BOWS AND REFILES ARE REQUIRED:
To ensure bow /rifle shoots true.
To ensure that the hunter is capable of a safe and moral hunt
GUIDES:
At all times hunters will be accompanied by a guide while hunting the game.
Guide is there for guidance and not responsible for identification of species, sex, and advice on shot placement or judgment on size or quality of trophy – That is the responsibility of the hunter.
Guide is not responsible for finding of wounded animals; however, they will do their utmost to find the animal.
Blood , bone , stomach content or other as pointed out by guide after a shot was fired will be counted as a deadly hit and will have to be paid for in full , whether the animal is found or not.
If satisfactory service was delivered, tipping is encouraged only on departure. But no alcohol please.
HUNTING TIMES:
Hunting is allowed from half an hour before sunrise to half an hour before sunset.
No hunting during the night except with the specific permission of the owner only.
