Pendleton County is 0-3 in the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen

PHILLIP WOOD: 1955 graduate of Morgan High School; Georgetown College grad; Coached PCHS from 1964-1979 and came back to coach from 1989-1991. Wood coached 17 seasons at PCHS. His teams won eleven 38th District Titles and two 10th Region Titles (1965 & 1971). His career record at Pendleton County was 274-241. He holds the school record for most games won, most districts won and most regionals won. He is a member of the 10th Region Hall of Fame. Coach Wood still resides in Falmouth and attends games regularly.

WOODIE CRUM: Coached at Mays Lick, Maysville, Daviess County, Bowling Green, Pendleton County and Harrison County. According to the KHSAA he is top 40 all-time in victories with 527. He took four different teams to the Sweet 16 (Maysville 1956, 1959, 1960; Harrison County 1976). He also coached six years at Lawrence Central High School (IN) and led one team to the Indiana State Tournament. Not to mention he was an all-state basketball player at Jenkins High School in 1947. Crum was inducted into the Dawahare’s KHSAA Hall of Fame in 1995.

BUDDY BIGGS: 1988 Covington Catholic graduate; NKU graduate; Was assistant coach at Dayton (girls), Beechwood, Henderson County and Mason County; Was head coach at Pendleton County 2001-2006, Ashland Paul Blazer 2006-2015, and Mason County 2015-Present; Biggs redefined Pendleton County basketball; Went 102-51 at PCHS; won three 38th District Titles and one 10th Region Title (2005); Had Pendleton ranked in top 10 of AP polls for almost 2 full seasons; 2005 AP Co-Coach of the year with Trinity’s Mike Szabo; KABC Coach of the Year 4X; 2006 Louisville Courier-Journal Coach of the Year; Has won over 300 games as a high school head coach along with 10+ District Championships and 2 Regional Championships (2005 & 2016); Member of the 10th Region Hall of Fame.

KEATON BELCHER: 2005 Pendleton County graduate; Played college basketball at Belmont University (Nashville, Tennessee); Played on 2005 Sweet 16 team in high school; Played on 3 NCAA Tournament Teams at Belmont; 2015 and 2018 10th Region Coach of the Year; Member of the 10th Region Hall of Fame. 1959/60-2017/18
