Participation in International Exhibitions During the Year 2014-15

NO: KVIC/MKT/Intl.Fairs/Calendar/2014-15/ Date: 20.08.2014 ______Participation in International Exhibitions during the year 2014-15 KVIC will be participating in various International Exhibitions/Trade Fairs during the year 2014-15, as approved by the Ministry (Copy enclosed). The potential KVI Institutions and REGP/PMEGP Units may send their application alongwith prescribed formats (Enclosed Annexure-I & II) through concerned State/Divisional Director for their participation to avail the opportunity to explore the export possibilities for their products in the International Market on or before 31st August 2014.

However, before sending the application the Institution/Units may kindly ensure the fulfillment of following criterias:

1. The Unit should be KVI Institution directly listed and financed by KVIC/KVIB, REGP/PMEGP Units and Departmental Sales outlets of KVIC having exclusive and exportable products. 2. The Unit should have membership of KVIC-EPC for not less than 1 year. 3. There should be a valid passport of the nominated person, who shall be traveling abroad.

4. The Unit should be able to bear the expenses over and above Rs.1.25 lakhs which is reimbursed as grant support from KVIC, being 50% of Stall Rent and 75% of the Air Fare. However, for the Woman Entrepreneur/SC/ST/ NEZ State participants, the full support for Air Fare and Stall Rent to the tune of 100% is extended, subject to the maximum of Rs.1.25 lakh. However, other expenses like lodging, boarding, cargo etc are to be borne by the participating unit, which may be to the tune of Rs.25,000/- to Rs.75,000/-, depending upon the place & period of stay during the exhibition. 5. The unit should remit Rs.35,000/- as security deposit in advance by Demand Draft, drawn in favor of Directorate of Marketing, KVIC, Mumbai, along with the prescribed application Form and a copy of valid pass port. The same amount will be adjusted/refunded or recovered against their claim/dues as the case may be, after the fair is over. However, without the advance remittance of above amount, the application for participation will not be considered. 6. Institutions/Units who have availed assistance of KVIC in participating in International Exhibitions within a period of 2 years i.e. during 2012-13 & 2013-14, shall not become eligible.
