Delta Delta Delta- present . Quorum: 8/8. Quorum is met. . . Reading of the Creed . . Speakers . Shelby Creemers- USF Dance Marathon 12 pm Saturday, March 26 until 5 am Sunday, March 27 . It;s a 17 hour party. You do not have to stay the whole time, you can get there when you want and leave when you want. All money goes to Children's miracle network. Do not let beign a bad dancer stop you. There will be games going oneverywhere ion the dance floor. Competitiion for who can raise the most money. We make up dances and it's a lot of fun. We are trying to instill the dance marathon spirit to greek. Greeks bring a lot of energy in masses and it will help bring the event to a new level. We want to raise more money and it will help. We want to help build the children's hospital in downtown. IF we do this more kids can survive. Registration fee is $15, next friday it will be $5 only. 11-3 by MLK fountain for the entire event. We can email Erin all the information. . . Betsy Sunny- USF Baptist Collegiate Ministries "One for Forty" Feeding Children Everywhere March 24th . Comes to greek to propose an didea. They are temaed up wto feed children everywhere. Found a way to provide a meal for just quarter. Wants to send meals over to haiti. Wants to raise $5,000. Greek stad for philanthropy, service, and this is a great way to do that. It's a great way to come together. IF you are interested contact her via her email and phone number on flyer. . . Delta Phi Omega . Wants to talk about heir literacy for unity week. It's their philantropy for childhoo dliteracy. All procides go to philanthropy and all events are associated with children. Each day has a different event. Friday is rent-a-fair at the lava lounge, $5 for greeks and $7 for nongreeks. 9am at the MSC is their service event. . . . Approve Minutes of Previous Meeting . President: Erin Potter ([email protected]) o During the final general session of the 2010 NPC annual meeting, delegates passed three resolutions: . 1) Beginning in 2011, all NPC member groups, College Panhellenics and Alumnae Panhellenics will celebrate February instead of October as the Month of the Scholar. . 2) Pursuant to the provisions of Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972 confirming the single-sex designation of women's sororities, that members refrain from participation in men's fraternity recruitment and encourage College Panhellenics to adopt a policy that restricts Panhellenic women from participating in any men's fraternity recruitment events . 3) Effective in fall 2011, recruitment counselors will not be involved with any potential new members during the completion and signing of the MRABA. o PAN Spirit Event March 10 11am-3pm MSC Amphitheater! Each sorority will collaborate with their sisterhood sorority to plan an activity for a booth. Anyone who comes will be given a ticket (those wearing letters will receive 2) and at the end of the event whichever team has the most tickets will win a free Sisterhood Sorority Social! This event is open to all Students and Staff to show the University our involvement and collaboration between sororities and will be lots of fun! o Panhellenic Picture Day February 19. Louis for AFLV tomorrow until Sunday night. o There is a President's Meeting tonight after PAN and the next one is scheduled for March 23. o Office Hours: Monday 11am- 1pm . Vice President of Internal Affairs: Farah Stiltner ([email protected]) o Just a reminder that Ethics Board Applications are still out and are due Feb 17th at 5pm in the OFSL. Please sign up for an interview time when you turn it in, they will be Feb. 18th from 12pm-4pm. o Sportsmanship in Intramurals o Study Smart Workshops for Spring 2011 . VP of Recruitment and Retention: Diana Padilla ([email protected]) o "Sororities symbolize all that we wish to accomplish in our lives. They represent the struggles we all face as we grow. Why we cling to them no one can explain, but in the end, we are all stronger for it." o My office hours are Mondays from 11am to 1pm. If you are not able to come meet with me then email to set up an appointment. o Thank you for everyone that attended the first Recruitment Roundtable and for all the input you gave. The next Recruitment Roundtable will be on Wednesday Feb. 16, 2011 at 8:00pm in the Delta Delta Delta chapter room. o Recruitment chairs please if you haven't sent me your Recruitment Advisors contact information via email please do so as soon as you can. . Vice President of Administration: Abigail Savage ([email protected]) o Fact: The USF Panhellenic GPA is higher than the USF all women’s GPA. o Office hours: Mon 11:00AM – 1:00 PM o Sponsorship packet out  Recruitment sponsorships are due by April 15th. o Panhellenic dues are due this Friday, February 11th. o Reimbursements . Cabinet reimbursements from last semester- 2 weeks to turn them in or cannot be reimbursed. . An outline of how to get reimbursement will be sent out before next pan meeting . Vice President of Programming: Laura Johnson ([email protected]) o Liason Committee applications are online. THey are a part of cabinet. It will by 3 liasons for the other 3 councils. o Had first cabinet meeting and it went really well o VP of Programming applications on the website! Applications are due Friday Feb. 18 by 5pm in the OFSL. o Details on what VP of Programming does o must be organized o in charge of cabinet o coordinate with philanthropy chairs from each chapter o keep up with the calendar . Vice President of Recruitment Personnel: Stephanie Marsan ([email protected]) o Did you know listening to relaxing music such as classical or jazz on a low volume can relieve some of the boredom of studying? o Pi Chi applications are re opened!! they will be due Thursday February 17th at 5 in the OFSL! o I encourage anyone who is considering it to apply! Keep in mind dissafiliation is only starting August 1st! o Interviews will be Friday February 18th! . Vice President of External Affairs: Kristina Sparacino (@gmail.com) o What I always find helpful is to use the study rooms in the library because you can get a lot accomplished without getting distracted. I also have pencils for the delegates. o Office Hours will be 2-4 every Wednesday. o Panhellenic Recruitment Awareness Team Applications will be posted tonight after the Panhellenic meeting. Alpha Omicron Pi: We’re preparing and very excited for our 3rd annual Kickin’ it for a Cure on March 5th, and want to give a big thank you to Tri Delta for being the first to sign up! And congratulations all of the recently appointed 2011 Pi Chi’s . Chi Omega: Hey ladies I know a lot of us have midterms coming up and I just wanted to remind you to place scholarship before social obligation and we wish you the best of luck on all of your upcoming tests. . Delta Delta Delta: We want to recognize Shelbi Muske and congratulate her on her initiation to Tri Delta . this week, and we're so excited to have her as a new member of our chapter! . Delta Gamma: 1)Friday Feb 11th is the Florida Student Summit on Global Business! It is in the Marshall Center from 10-4, free to all students! 2) We are so excited for Kristina to be the new Pan External! Also, for Amanda Cole to be elected to cabinet! Congrats to all other girls selected! 3) Proud of Laura Monteverdi for anchoring on Florida Focus! . Kappa Delta: Wants to congratulate that we just installed our new officers. Gave present to sisterhood sorority . Sigma Delta Tau: Had a fun retreat in Orlando this weekend. Shout out to new pi chis. . Zeta Tau Alpha: I would like to share with everyone about an Epilepsy Foundation. This year the athletic department is working to help support this cause. .
