He grew up with one sister Theresa “Tootie” 27 Juliano; and 28 29 Whereas, Nick and his beloved wife Julia Juliano have been 30 married for twentynine years and have two cherished sons, 31 Nicholas Juliano IV and Anthony Juliano; and 32 33 Whereas, a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Nick is also 34 a part of the church’s Knights of Columbus Chapter; and 35 36 Whereas, when he was thirteen, he achieved the rank of Eagle 37 Scout and went on to join the Chester Fire Department Explorer 38 Post, where he volunteered for four years, beginning his 39 firefighting career; and 40

[4232] 2 1 Whereas, after he graduated from Chester High School, he went on 2 to attend Winthrop University and earned a degree in Political 3 Science; and 4 5 Whereas, upon finishing college, he moved to Garden City Beach, 6 where he began a plumbing business. He has been a plumber for 7 over twentyfive years and runs the successful business Plumb 8 Crazy; and 9 10 Whereas, in addition to plumbing, Nick began volunteering at 11 Murrells Inlet Fire Rescue in 1991 and by 1992, became a fulltime 12 member. During his more than twentyfive years working with the 13 MIGC Fire District, Nick earned firefighter of the year four times 14 and achieved the rank of Captain. He has made many friends and 15 cherished memories throughout his service; and 16 17 Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of 18 Representatives are grateful for the years of dedication that Nick 19 has devoted to the safety of the people of Murrells Inlet and 20 Garden City Beach and wish him many years of enjoyment in his 21 wellearned retirement. Now, therefore, 22 23 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: 24 25 That the members of the House of Representatives of the State of 26 South Carolina, by this resolution, recognize and honor Nicholas 27 Juliano III upon the occasion of his retirement after over 28 twentyfive years of exemplary service to the Murrells InletGarden 29 City Fire District and wish him continued success and happiness in 30 all his future endeavors. 31 32 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to 33 Nicholas Juliano III. 34 XX 35
