Toledo Area Sports Turf Internship Program Brief about the Facility: Sylvania Recreation Corporation (SRC) facilities and maintenance department is responsible for maintaining many facilities used by SRC throughout the city of Sylvania. Pacesetter Park is the home base of the facilities under the care of SRC and is the jewel of the park system. The facility has 8 lit baseball/softball fields and 98 acres of premium sports turf that houses soccer, lacrosse, flag football. Pacesetter Park is also home to Lourdes College softball team. The total facility sits on 138 acres.

SRC and Pacesetter Park serves the community of Sylvania providing a place to participate in all outdoor activates. Along with serving the community Pacesetter Park will host numerous sporting events throughout the year.

What you will learn from Sylvania Recreation: Interns will learn how to manage a multiuse facility. Will work closely with management staff and be expected to interact and attend all weekly Management meetings.
