These are items that #3 Rachel Jansen------348-2463 Love In the Name of Christ will use for their food closet (hosted by St. John’s church of #4 Starla Geels------324-3740 Sanborn) and personal supplies closet (which Immanuel hosts) which are part of the voucher system for the Loving Help program. We will bring them forward at our Thanksgiving service. If you want to participate and cannot attend the Thanksgiving Immanuel Ladies Retreat: January 12 and 13 at the North Place. More details coming soon. Service on the 22nd, items will be collected at church from November 20-22. Prayer Praises & Concerns Pray for our Veterans and those serving in the Military: As we remember the sacrifice of Upcoming Worship Dates: the men and women who have served in the armed forces please remember them in prayer November 22 – 7:00 p.m.: Thanksgiving Worship Service asking that the Lord would bless them as a result of their service. Pray especially for Brandon November 26 – 9:30 a.m.: First Sunday of Advent. Given the unique scheduling of Steggerda who was recently released from the Air Force and for Alex Davis who is currently Thanksgiving and Christmas this year we are beginning our celebration of Advent a serving in the Navy based out of Guam. PM: Worthington International Ministries Nov 19: AM: Love INC and Benevolence Michelle’s Orphans: Sweatshirts—the gifts Immanuel set to Odessa last year were a hit with PM: Christian Education Society the orphanage kids. Michelle Maly says, “Many of the kids are still wearing the sweatshirts AUDIO/VIDEO: Audio: Keaton POWERPOINT: Jackie H (a.m.) even though they are getting small and some have passed them on to other kids.” She Video: Kyler Allan (p.m.) suggested we might want to collect again so that everyone on her Orphanage #5 list receives Nov 19: Audio: Caleb Nov 19: Chandler (a.m.) a new sweatshirt for his/her 2018 birthday. The COFFEE SERVERS instructions for cards and packaging along with the fudge recipe are on the Community Today: Duane & Robin Haack, Harlan & Diane Vander Griend Connections table. Fudge can be dropped off at church by Monday noon, December 11. Put Nov 19: Elmer & Mary Schmidt, Mark & Sharla Vander Pol cards in Lois Postma’s church mailbox. Also, please remember to write the number of pieces on each box of fudge.
