Position Title: Leasing Representative Region: Various Div./Department: Leasing Reports to (Title & Name): VP Leasing/SVP Leasing/Leasing Dir. Date Prepared: August 2013 Status: Exempt Non-Exempt Job Responsibilities Job Scope: The Leasing Representative will have the ability to create income and value for our company through both long-term and short-term deal making at a local & national level. The Leasing Representative must be able to identify opportunities for improved performance at centers. While generating sufficient leasing activity to achieve NOI objectives for assigned center(s). The Leasing Representative is accountable for National Leasing and a portion of permanent income.

 Deal Making – Negotiates leases of both new and renewal deals at a center level. Creates income and value for the company through understanding consumers and trends.  Canvassing and Traveling - Search for prospective, with a focus on, new local/regional tenants. A heavy amount of travel is expected within this role and if the assignment is out of the market then the expectation can be up to two weeks a month in the specific market.  Business Development - Develop new concepts via cold calling and canvassing efforts.  Tenant Relations - Manage portfolio of renewals and the relationships that exist in the current book of business.  Lease Finance – Managing your properties Local Leasing forecast on a weekly basis and be able to report changes effectively to management. Also be able to assist in the creation of your budget on a property level.  Administration Management – Deal entry and preparation, leads management, portfolio review request, expense management, time management.  Internal Relations – Manage effective communication between centers teams, Local Leasing counterparts and upper management.  Goals - Achieve permanent income goals established for assigned center(s).  Industry Trends and Merchandising - Keep abreast of permanent and national leasing trends in the industry and center merchandising tactics.

Requirements and Other  2-3 years of sales experience  Experience and shopping centers real estate preferred  Understanding of shopping center merchandising and leasing  Strong communication, sales and time management skills.  Moderate levels of Word ,Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills  Bachelor’s degree required.  Travel required up to 50%
