Completing prepositional phrases Read the passage below and highlight any prepositional phrases.

Melissa and Robbie decided to visit their Aunty Patsy, who lived in Cornwall. She lived at the seaside near Penzance.

They caught a bus but they got stuck in traffic and didn’t arrive until lunchtime. Aunty Patsy had spread a feast of rolls, cakes and biscuits on top of the table.

After lunch, they all decided to go to the beach to paddle in the sea and to make sandcastles. Robbie made the biggest one and placed shells on top of it.

They then walked into the town to buy souvenirs and ice- creams. However, it began to rain so they sheltered under a tree. Inside the house they drank hot chocolate. Melissa and Robbie realised that it was getting dark. They thanked Aunty Patsy and left for home.
