IN THE ZONE – 5th Annual Jammin 4 Jerseys Presented by ITZSportz.com April 7-9, 2017 Boys and Girls Grade Levels 1st – 9th

Participants: Jammin 4 Jerseys is open to all boys and girls teams’ grades 2nd – 9th). All athletes that participate in Jammin 4 Jerseys event must have Player or Coaches Credentials Each coach sitting on the bench must also have his/her credentials. Only the players listed on the submitted team entry form are eligible to participate in this tournament. Game and/or tournament suspensions may be given to any team utilizing a player not properly registered. Roster changes will be accepted through April 7th, 2017. Contact the Tournament Coordinator for further information regarding roster changes.

Registration Deadline: To register, please complete the attached team entry form to: PO Box 46407, Little Rock AR, 72214 Complete entry forms must be mailed back by, April 1, 2017 in order to guarantee your team a place in the tournament.

Tournament Fee: $275.00, Make check or Money order payable to: IN THE ZONE. All Tournament fees are due by April 1st Each team will receive no fewer than three scheduled games.

PLAY TIME 1st -4th Grade games will have a 12 min stop clock half’s and 5th Grade & up games will have 13 min half’s. Overtime 2 mins. 2nd Overtime 1 min.

Sportsmanship: Coaches, players, and spectators must exhibit good sportsmanship during the tournament by showing respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, and support staff. Good sportsmanship supports the values of the game and our goal is to promote healthy competition in a positive and safe environment. Coaches are ultimately responsible for the behavior of their players and spectators. However, we reserve the right to have a team forfeit a game or to have a team suspended from the tournament if coaches, players, or spectators become unmanageable.

Rules: High School Federation Rules will be in effect, with exception of the following rules: 1. Teams will shoot 1&1 free throws on the 7th, 8th, and 9th team fouls. Teams will shoot the double bonus beginning with the 10th team foul and all in the act of shooting fouls. 2. Each team will be allowed 2 full sixty-second time outs and 2 thirty-second timeouts per game. One additional time in OT. (No Carry Over) (2 Timeouts per Half) 3. All Tiebreakers for Pool Play: We will use the Point Differential Rule. 15point Max. 4. All age groups can pick up Full Court… @ 20+ Lead Half Court 5. 6 Foul Disqualification 6. Protest All protests must be in writing. Protests concerning the status or eligibility of any competitor must be made to the Games official. Each protest will be $200 cash that is nonrefundable unless the protest is upheld, If the protest is upheld, the cash deposit shall be immediately refunded to the protester. 7. If a player(s) is protested and you cannot produce proper documentation it will result in an immediate forfeit of all games that the said player has participated in. The Tournament Director may modify the Tournament Rules when the Tournament Director deems it in the best interests of the tournament to do so and all teams will be bound by any such change.

Grade Confirmation: ROSTER RULES Players participate at their present academic grade level. Players can play “up” in grade level, but not “down”. For example, a player enrolled in 5th grade can play in the 6th grade division, but not the 4th grade division. Teams are required to have proof of grade and should have that proof available on request. Proof of grade is a clean copy of any report card of the current academic year. No roster additions will be permitted after the team has begun play of its first tournament game. Players can only play on a single team within a single grade division

Awards: Awards will be presented to the first and second place teams in each grade level.

Locations: All Tournament games will be played in and around the Little Rock, Bryant area. The game locations will be posted on the schedule.
