Jesse’s House, Inc., a female youth residential shelter and community service program located in Cumming, GA, is seeking a Human Services Professional. The Human Services Professional is responsible for the following:

 Ensure educational, medical, emotional, and social needs of residents are met

 Provide and coordinating ancillary and social services for residents

 Complete all state mandated reporting for each resident on time

 Effectively assess and document safety, permanency and well-being

 Maintain resident charts and files in accordance to state mandates

 Liaison for case managers, probation officers, schools, and other community support workers involved in resident’s case planning

 Scheduling medical/dental appointments and family visitation in accordance to minimum standards

 Comply with all state mandates and initiatives

 Attend meetings related to resident’s case (court, Family Team Meetings, etc.)

 Maintain a caseload of no more than 12 residents

Candidates with bring the following credentials:  Master’s degree from accredited college or university in area of behavioral/social sciences and 1 year of paid work experience in the field OR Bachelor’s degree in same areas of study with 2 years of paid work experience in social service, child care or related field  Knowledge and experience with at-risk youth; crisis management skills  Exceptional organizational and communication skills  Exceptional professional writing skills  Able to work independently as well as be a team player  Familiarity with GA Shine and GA Score; state mandates and initiatives a plus  Experience working with state agencies (DFCS, DJJ) a plus

Annual Salary range: $28,000 – $35,000
