<p> Human Services Professional www.jesseshouse.org</p><p>Jesse’s House, Inc., a female youth residential shelter and community service program located in Cumming, GA, is seeking a Human Services Professional. The Human Services Professional is responsible for the following:</p><p> Ensure educational, medical, emotional, and social needs of residents are met</p><p> Provide and coordinating ancillary and social services for residents</p><p> Complete all state mandated reporting for each resident on time</p><p> Effectively assess and document safety, permanency and well-being</p><p> Maintain resident charts and files in accordance to state mandates</p><p> Liaison for case managers, probation officers, schools, and other community support workers involved in resident’s case planning</p><p> Scheduling medical/dental appointments and family visitation in accordance to minimum standards</p><p> Comply with all state mandates and initiatives</p><p> Attend meetings related to resident’s case (court, Family Team Meetings, etc.)</p><p> Maintain a caseload of no more than 12 residents</p><p>Candidates with bring the following credentials:  Master’s degree from accredited college or university in area of behavioral/social sciences and 1 year of paid work experience in the field OR Bachelor’s degree in same areas of study with 2 years of paid work experience in social service, child care or related field  Knowledge and experience with at-risk youth; crisis management skills  Exceptional organizational and communication skills  Exceptional professional writing skills  Able to work independently as well as be a team player  Familiarity with GA Shine and GA Score; state mandates and initiatives a plus  Experience working with state agencies (DFCS, DJJ) a plus</p><p>Terms and Conditions: Satisfactory criminal background check Satisfactory pre-employment and random drug screening Satisfactory motor vehicle history CPR and First Aid Certification Valid driver’s license 40 hours per week minimum; work schedule will vary based on client needs Benefits provided (medical insurance reimbursement, paid time off)</p><p>P.O.
