Ensure that you have fulfilled all the bursary or scholarship criteria before applying. This is an interactive form that must be completed electronically. APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS:

Margery Dumfries Scholarship – For those planning to attend a recognized post-secondary institution such as a college, technical school or university in Canada. Preference will be given to applicants showing a background, interest and /or prospective career in the sciences, engineering or agriculture . This scholarship is conditional upon acceptance at the post-secondary institution of the recipient’s choice.

Eve Pound Scholarship – For those enrolling in a course at a degree granting college or institution in Canada. This scholarship is conditional upon acceptance at a degree granting college or institution in Canada of the recipient’s choice.

BC Council Bursary and Bursary of Honour – For those planning to attend a public or private post- secondary institution (all fields of study are eligible). The bursary is conditional upon acceptance at the post- secondary institution of the recipient’s choice.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS – For Eve Pound and Margery Dumfries Scholarships Only (15 points) List special recognition received during your high school years (i.e. academic awards, certificates, special academic achievements). Enclose an unofficial BC Ministry of Education Transcript of Grade 11 and 12 courses completed to date, including letter grades and a photocopy of the interim report, including current marks and term letter grades.

REFERENCES Please provide the names of two references who are not relatives or someone with whom you reside (one from someone not involved in Guiding, and one from an adult Guiding member). Provide a hard copy of the BC Bursaries, Grants and Scholarships Reference Form, and the criteria for the bursary and/or scholarship(s) for which you are applying, to each of your referees. (Incorrect reference letters or forms will result in disqualification of the application.)
