Vacancy Reference: 51/16 Job Title: Cargo Operative Grade: Manual Location: Immingham Container Terminal Company: Associated British Ports Reporting to: Operations Supervisor

Requirements: • Knowledge of port and/or terminal operations • Knowledge of terminal management systems • Experience of operating a wide variety of terminal equipment such as tug master, RTG, forklift trucks and reach stackers advantageous • Successful applicants will be required to work flexible shifts, incorporating nights and weekend work • Understand quality systems in respect of standards required • A sound knowledge of health and safety legislation • Full UK driving licence Main Duties: • Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the agreed Safe Systems of Work • Working within a small team operating terminal machinery • Flexibility with respect to completion of duties • General good housekeeping • Support and maintain a high level of communication • Demonstrate a clear understanding of stevedores skills in support of our quality processes
