1. Call to order by the President.
2. Approval of minutes from the meeting held July 16, 2010.
3. IDP Report - Marsha Cuddeback (because of time restraints, report will be handed out at meeting).
4. Executive Director’s primary office functions:
A. Mailed delinquent renewal letters to firms.
B. Website upgrad/Newsletters/proposal from Peacock Communications.
C. As suggested by Mr. Blitch, proposal obtained from Acadian Custom Installations (recommended by AIA/LA) for large (42 inch) screen (monitor) for board room wall. Installation is included in proposal.
D. Proposed quote from Dell/continuing discussion and pricing on new computers and server. All will be purchased off state contract and fall under budgeted allocations. Once purchased, begin working with EMCO Technologies (state approved contractor) for installation.
E. Attendance:
1. August 5-8 - NCARB PCC/Chicago 2. August 8 - Peacock Communications 3. August 12 – LA Dell Representative/Joey Cashio 4. September 8 – AIA/LA 5. September 23-23 – Attending AIA/LA Conference, which includes meeting with IDP State Coordinator & Educators on Thursday, September 23rd.
5. Legal - Paul Spaht
A. Rule 1301.E (increasing delinquent fees) appeared in August, 2010 LA Register.
B. Status of proposed legislation relating to firm practice/still awaiting committee meeting date from ACEC.
C. Update on Building Officials Guide to Architecture.
D. Proposed changes to exemptions (Section 155)/response from Don Zeringue (SFMO).
E. Possible distribution of surplus funds to LA NAAB accredited schools of architecture for educational purposes/request Attorney General opinion.
F. Rule 1525 (retired or deceased)/couple of state responses/names included in any listing of architects/letterhead.
G. Rule 1315 F 1 (c) CEH for preparation/presentation of qualified lecture/email date August 25 from Andrew Perrin.
H. Possible revision to Chapter 15 (Title, Firm Names and Assumed Names) particularly rules 1505, 1507, and 1513.
I. Rule 1901 E (1) Cat Foy (business manager for Grace and Hebert) email dated August 17 re: registering branch office.
J. CRC matters:

K. Enforcement Report/Eddleman
6. Approval of Annual LA Compliance Questionnaire.
7. Review of July, 2010 Budget Report.
8. December 17 is the next Board Meeting
