Good Day! It’s that time of year to begin working on our Annual Year-end Reports. For most of us, this is one of the most exciting times of the calendar year. 

The District Conference Year will end April 30, 2015 and District Conference will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Please open your calendar now and capture the details of this letter so you won’t get caught off guard when these due dates dawn.

Events, Dates, Times and The Portal

☐ Local Church Conference - reserve the date for your annual local church conference now for soon after April 30th. Tell your treasurer (and whoever else needs to know) so they can do their advanced planning in preparation for whatever information you’ll need for your reports. Immediately following your meeting, login to the Pastor Portal and update your list of Local Church Leaders (www.wesleyan.org/stats).

☐ District Conference 2015 - the date is June 13, 2015. It will be held at Awaken Church, 935 Balltown Rd., in Niskayuna, NY. Ordination will be held in the same location on Friday evening, June 12th at 6:30 p.m.

☐ Annual Reports and What to Do with Them - review the chart below to get your reports ready and submitted on time:

☐ The Wesleyan Portal – this year we’ve streamlined the process for you by having you log into the Wesleyan Portal at www.wesleyan.org/stats and click on the appropriate portal name (District, Pastors, Students). Once logged in, look to the toolbar at the top of the page and you’ll find the FORMS tab. Simply click on the form(s) you need and the download will be saved to your computer hard drive. Complete the form(s). The form(s) will auto-submit, but you may want to also save a copy to your computer. That’s it!

I want to remind you of the great value of submitting the annual service report each year. The faithful completion of our annual reports is vital to safeguarding your standing as a Wesleyan minister. As you may know, the Discipline requirement that anyone who has not turned in an Annual Service Report two years in a row will receive a warning. If no report is received for three years in a row, the conference is to require the minister in question to surrender their credentials (See Discipline 3059:4c; 3089:3; 3460; 3470). So please, safeguard your standing with The Wesleyan Church and complete and send your Annual Service Report this year and every year.
