We had out annual neighborhood meeting to hold elections for the upcoming year. It was great to see everyone - old neighbors and new! Here are the officers for this year:

President – Brest West VP – Joe Thompson Treasurer – TK Wright Secretary – Liz Salem Street Reps: Fox Ridge - Reid Troutman N. Shorewood – Bryan Allen S. Shorewood – Rose Templin

Issues that we covered at this meeting:

There was a motion passed to install 3 defibrillators in the neighborhood. One will be on S. Shorewood – in the Templin’s front patio. One will be on Fox Ridge in Brent’s covered patio area. One will be at the Brook’s dock. These are for the neighborhood to use in the event of an emergency. The will be in covered areas, but accessible to anyone who needs them.

Signs - there was a motioned carried to not have the Cove Norris sign any longer at Cherry Bottom. The signs are old, and there is just not a need for them any longer. We will continue to take care of the signs that are actually in the neighborhood and at Shady Cove.

There is a UPS drop box that will be going in at the T – this will allow anyone in the neighborhood to drop off anything that needs to be shipped. Once installed, we will coordinate with UPS to have the box checked daily for pickups.

WORK DAY!!!! Our Fall work day will be Nov 8th! Meet at 9AM at the boat-ramp. Bring all the usual tools – chainsaws, garbage bags, rakes, etc. There is something for everyone to do! We will work for 2 hours.
