Welcome to Survivor AFRICA!!! Soon you will find yourself in a tribe of 3-4 members stranded in the unforgiving deserts and plains of Africa. Your tribe will compete in several challenges that will test you strength, knowledge, and survival instincts. Challenges are broken into four categories: 1. Learning Challenge (Acquiring information about your civilization) 2. Tribal Council (share your discoveries and knowledge with your tribe) 3. Knowledge Challenge (taking various tests to show your understanding) 4. Skills Challenge (earning extra points for random projects involving teambuilding activities).
Contest Rules and Directions 1) The challenges always go in the order listed above. 2) Each tribe member must do his/her part during the Learning Challenges in order to participate in Tribal Council If they fail to help the tribe, they must complete the challenges by themselves. 3) Any member removed from the challenges may return to the group after the next Skills Challenge. 4) If a tribal member is absent, they can get all information from the Reward Challenges from the teachers’ website. 5) Knowledge Challenges are the only challenges that directly affect your class grade. *The final test will as well. 6) All tribes will compete against one another to declare which team is the ultimate survivor.
