Spirit Week Dress Code Monday-Monsters University Day: Wear college spirit apparel. Sweatshirts are allowed. Dressing in only a color combination is not acceptable; students must wear apparel that clearly states the college. Attaching paper to clothes that says the name of a college is not acceptable. Students may not create their own T-shirts. Hats, wig, and bandanas are permitted but are to be removed upon teacher request. Normal dress down day rules apply (see handbook), except for clearly stated exceptions. No flip-flops; no pajamas; no torn pants and shirts; no unnatural hair coloring or overly long hair; no overly revealing clothing; no excessive jewelry.

Tuesday-Prince/Princess Dress Up Day: Come dressed in your best! Normal dress-up rules apply (see handbook). Crowns and sashes (must be gender appropriate) are encouraged! Hats, wigs, and bandanas are permitted but are to be removed upon teacher request. No flip-flops; no pajamas; no torn pants and shirts; no unnatural hair coloring or overly long hair; no overly revealing clothing; no excessive jewelry.

Wednesday-Hawaii Day *Test Day*: Students must report in full school uniform. Brightly colored socks, ties, and Hawaii leis are permitted. Socks must cover the ankle bone. For girls, socks must come to at least the mid-calf.

Thursday-Disney Character/Tourist Day: Students have the option to dress as a Disney character or an extreme Disney tourist. Disney Character: Students must wear appropriate Disney costumes. Costumes must be recognizable and gender appropriate. Extreme Disney Tourist: Students must be clearly dressed as an extreme Disney tourist (ex: Mickey/Minnie ears; character accessories; Disney Lanyard with pins; Disney apparel) Normal dress down day rules apply (see handbook), except for clearly stated exceptions. Friday-Class Color Day: Wear class colors. Your class color must be the dominate color. Jeans and sneakers are permitted. Clothing with explicit, suggestive, or unwholesome content is never permitted. A vote by the faculty will be made on who wins the “best dressed” prize for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. There will be one winner per class, unless one or more of the classes have no member who enthusiastically participates in the theme day. The prizes for the winner of the “best dressed” will be free homecoming tickets. Students who chose to disobey the established dress code will sit in front of the main office and will not be allowed to attend class until proper attire is worn.
