Da Liberal Soul - Mission Statement

The name the Da Liberal Soul was chosen as I felt it best suited my spirit, if I were to align it with the word of God. The bible declares in Proverbs 11:25 that “The Liberal Soul shall be made fat, and he that watereth shall be watered also himself” I couldn’t think of a better scripture to speak a blessing to yourself from. As I have always taken pleasure in giving rather than receiving.

The mission of the Da Liberal Soul is to spread the gospel through song, to as many souls that would give ear, both saved and unsaved alike. While offering the world music that can not only be heard on Sunday morning in church, but music that will keep you through the day right on into the late night hour, while never compromising the message one bit. Having lived and experienced what I sing about, I've realized that all of my life’s misfortunes, hurts and disappointments' were purposed for such a time as this. So that through my ministry, lost and hurting souls would find hope, solace, peace and lastly Salvation. I also happen to have a special burden for the backslider and the persecuted outcast in the church. And would like for all to know that God is a restorer and is faithful and just, if only humbly come before him, repent and turn away from whatever doth hinder you.

With the end times being upon us, it is very important to not be hearers of the word but doers alike, while allowing God's word to ignite a reaction in your life causing that much needed change.

It is also my belief that Gospel music should reflect the word of God, while also aligned with what you’re taught in your home church. For example, you wouldn’t find an atheist out ministering the word of God, but rather his or her cause. So music ministry should't be taken lightly when being prepared, but rather carefully considered through prayer and fasting. This will give you the end result of a great ministry as only birthed out of the Holy Spirit, thus delivering music with a predestined purpose.

But the most important message that I would like to convey to the world, is that there is only One Lord, One Faith & One Baptism (Ephesians 4:5). There’s not a song or a desired concept out anywhere that’s more important than that. The bible speaks of in John 4:24 that “God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”. So in order to attain this revelation you must first arrive at TRUTH as only birthed by the leading of the Holy Spirit according to God’s desired plan of salvation i.e. Act’s 2:38.

In closing as we know there is not one perfect one amongst us outside of Jesus Christ himself, and with that being said, All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). So the important thing to realize when ministering in any facet, whether through music or as an orator of the gospel, you must live the life you minister about as your ministry will only be as effective as that measure.
