Job description:

 Operate Davi and Roundo Steel Plate Roll machines. Plate up to 10' long and 1" thick.

 Use of overhead cranes and forklifts

 Rolling large cones, shells used for pressure vessels and/or silos

 Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together,

 Operate Brake press, shear or other machines to shape or form metal,

 Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products,

 Read and interpret specifications on Blue Print drawings or follow verbal instructions,

 Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane, hoist, or Forklift

 Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs,  Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines,

 Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications,

 Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment

Requirements:

 Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.  One year experience and be mechanically inclined in operating a Roundo or Davi Steel Plate Roll machine (Due to the size of steel plates being rolled, the complexity of the machines and the precise dimensions)  Overhead cranes experience is required  Must be able to calculate radius and convert imperial to metric  Must be proficient in using a scientific calculator  Must be able to lift 100 lbs  On-the-job training is provided. Salary: Salary: $26.57 - $ 35.00 Hourly, 40 hours per week. Condensed work week. Monday-Thursday 10 hr/day. Position requires flexibility in scheduling; including evening or weekend hours as needed.
