SHWA(UK) Rehome/Adoption Contract
This contract is entered into between The Siberian Husky Welfare Association (UK) and:

The adoptor also agrees to and understands the following conditions: The dog is re-homed to the adopter as a pet If not already neutered, the dog/bitch must be speyed/neutered within 6months of re-homing. In the case of puppies under the age of six months, neutering should be carried out when the dog is one year old. The adopter is responsible for insuring the dog Under no circumstances may an un-neutered dog/bitch be bred from The dog must not be sold, given or passed on in any other manner to any other person. In the event of the adopter being unable to keep the dog for any reason, it must be returned to SHWA(UK) with all relevant paperwork and must not be re-homed in any other way without the express agreement of SHWA(UK). The dog will be kept in appropriate conditions for its health and welfare and will be fed a suitable diet for its age and condition The dog will receive all necessary veterinary care to maintain its good health. The dog will never be exercised offlead in an unenclosed area. The adopter understands that if there is a failure on their part to keep to any part of this contract, SHWA(UK) retains the right to repossess the dog at any time. The dog has been assessed by SHWA(UK) as suitable for re-homing, but SHWA(UK) can accept no responsibility for any damage, injury or other issues caused by the dog once re-homed.
