The Accommodation Has Been Booked and Paid for in Full for Those Who Requested It at Thorpland

The accommodation has been booked and paid for in full for those who requested it at

Thorpland Manor Barns, Downham Road, Runcton Holme, King's Lynn, Norfolk PE33 0AD

Tel 01553 810409

It is located to the west of the A10 between King's Lynn and Downham Market. From King's Lynn Hardwick roundabout take the A10 towards Downham Market for about 7 miles. At South Runcton turn right into School Road at the sign for Runcton Holme. After about 1 mile, at Runcton Holme crossroads, turn left onto Downham Road. Entrance to Thorpland Manor Barns is about half a mile on the left, after Thorpland Lane, Thorpland Close, and Thorpland Manor. There's a white sign beside the road opposite the entrance. Or you could take the scenic route across the Fens. Coming from the south, South Runcton village is about 3 miles on the A10 from the Downham Market roundabout. Turn left into School Road and then do the same as above.

Arrival time is after 4:00pm. If you arrive first please collect the key for the barn you have been allocated from the owners, Mary or Derek Caley, in Thorpland Manor farmhouse beside the barns. If you're not sure where to go contact Kelvin on 07816 110 108 or Gillian on 07929 902 753.

As usual the allocations of people to the accommodation units is just a suggestion, mainly because the proprietors require names for each unit's residents. You can stay where you like except for Rafters and Purlin Barns unless you can cope with young children. There are two vacant beds so there is room for flexibility. The numbers in each unit should not exceed those shown below. Towels and bedding are provided (towels are in the bathroom cabinets), however if you intend to use the swimming pool, spa or sauna then please bring your own towels. You don't need to bring anything else except your food and washing up things (including tea towels). Each barn has two bathrooms. You can see all the details at http://www.thorplandmanorbarns.co.uk An accommodation plan is available on their ‘Directions’ page.

As to cost, the accommodation for three nights will be £70 per person. Tower donations for the weekend will be £5, so the total is £75. If you are arranging your own accommodation or just coming for bits of the ringing the tower donations will be £5 for all thirteen towers or 50 new pence per tower. Please could you pay this on the weekend in whatever form is most convenient. Thorpland Manor doesn’t take credit cards and the full amount was paid some time ago, so early reimbursement would be good!

Transport I don't organise, but if you are in any difficulty let me know (but not at the last minute!).

Hope that's all clear. If there's anything you need to ask, please do.
