It was a pleasure meeting you at the Chamber of Commerce networking event last week. Per your suggestion, I am submitting my resume for the Financial Advisor position posted on Huntington’s website. As you know, I recently relocated to Toledo with my husband who just retired from the U.S. Army and I am looking to continue my career in financial advising.

During the past four years, I provided customized financial advising to more than 75 customers on a monthly basis. I consistently increased investment and insurance sales through my customer base. I have a keen ability to identify new business opportunities from both prospective and current clients by creating and delivering marketing presentations and reaching out to customers with new recommendations to help them meet their financial goals.

Prior to that, I spent more than eight years as a mathematics teacher and have used my teaching skills to educate my financial advising customers and break down their portfolios in a way they can understand easily.

As I mentioned to you, I completed the FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Fellowship Program and earned an Accredited Financial Counselor Certificate. I also hold current series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses and am a licensed life insurance representative. In addition, I strictly follow FINRA, NASAA and SEC regulations.

I am able to multitask and simultaneously oversee multiple accounts. I also have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
