Program Goal: To assist local school districts that have lost a portion of their local tax base because of federal ownership of property.

For fiscal year 2013, all initial payments were withheld pending implementation of changes in the funding formula resulting from amendments to the Impact Aid Law made by the National Defense Authorization Act. Explanation. The numberator is the number of grantees receiving an initial payment. The denominator is the total number or grant applications received and not determined ineligible.
