The Racquetball Club at William and Mary Constitution
I. Name The name of the club shall be “The Racquetball Club at William and Mary”.
II. Purpose The club’s goal is to promote and facilitate racquetball play at the College of William and Mary and the Williamsburg area at large.
III. Membership Membership shall be open to all students, alumni, administrators, faculty, and staff of the College; and to those in the Williamsburg area not affiliated with the College who are interested in racquetball. A “full member” shall be one who attends at least one half of the club’s regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year. Full members have voting rights in elections. An “adjunct member” shall be one who attends between one quarter and one half of the Club’s regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year. Adjunct members have no voting rights. Those who are not able to achieve either membership status are still enthusiastically encouraged to join the Club for practices. There are no dues or fees for membership. However, tournament entry fees, racquetball equipment, and facility memberships are not provided by the club; each individual is responsible in whole for these items, unless the governing board, in its sole discretion, decides otherwise. For all attendees, completion of the requisite Club Sports forms is required before participating in any Club meeting.

Other offices may be created at the sole discretion of the governing board.

VIII. Team The racquetball team shall be a subset of the Club members who are chosen to represent the Club at racquetball events. Team members must be enrolled students at the College. The team is selected by the governing board. Failure to achieve full membership status will preclude a student from becoming a team member, unless the governing board grants a special permission.
