5. FIELDS OF INTEREST: 1- Microbiology and Molecular Biology: Specially diagnosis by modern techniques using PCR- hyperdization- Fingerprinting- RFLP with the following organisms (Mycobacterium tuberculosis – Brucella abortus- Staphylococcus aureus and Corynebacterium species- Salmonella species- E. coli.

2- Immunology and sero-diagnostic techniques: 4 Dr. Moussa was given the opportunity to work at the service laboratory, a joint project of the German Agency for Technical co- operation (GTZ) and the BgVV. The project is attached to the section of Immunology and Diagnostics (505) at the BgVV and is designed to offer adapted Laboratory Diagnostic Techniques. Dr. Moussa was working under the scientific of Dr. Ch. Staak, Director and Professor, and made himself familiar with the following laboratory techniques: 1 Slow Serum Agglutination (SAT) 2 Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT) 3 Milk Ring Test (MRT) 4 Gel Precipitation Techniques (AGIDT, SRID) 5 Ascoli technique 6 Complement Fixation Test (CFT) 7 Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) 8 Direct and Indirect Fluorescence Antibody Technique (FAT/IFAT) 9 Estimation of mineral concentrations in animal sera 10 Estimation of serum γ -globulin concentrations with ZnSO4 turbidity test 11 Determination of protein concentrations (Biuret, BioRad) 12 Preparation and preservation of complement 13 Preparation of hyperimmune sera 14 Preparation of Ig Y from eggs of immunized hens 15 Conjugation of antibodies to FITC and HRPO 16 Immunoelectrophoresis 17 Steric chromatography 18 Affinity chromatography 3- Molecular biology: Diagnosis of infectious disease by (PCR - RFLP - Hyperidization) - Preparation of recombinant vaccines and diagnostic proteins on molecular basis depending on my Prolonged experience in this field. 6. MISSION ABROAD: Participated in training Programme at the Federal Institute for Health Protection of consumers and Veterinary Medicine (GTZ - BgVV) service laboratory in Berlin - Germany. 8. TEACHING ACTIVITIES: 1- Teaching of Microbiology: (Bacteriology – Mycology- Virology and Immunology) to undergraduate third year students, as well as postgraduates students for M.V.Sc and Ph.D. A- undergraduate Course. 1 Teaching theoretical Bacteriology Course. 2 Teaching practical Bacteriology Course. 3 Teaching practical Mycology Course. 4 Teaching theoretical and Practical Immunology Course. الدكتور أيهاب حاصل علي جائزة الدولة التشجيعية في العلوم الطبية في مصر من اكادمية البحث العلمي سنة 2005 م وتم تصنيفه ضمن ابرز خمسين عالم من شباب العلماء في مصر في عام 2005 .حيث استطاع ولول مرة في مصر تحضير المصل الواقي لسم الثعابين والعقارب في مح الدجاج. كما استطاع الباحث من الكشف عن البصمة الوراثية لميكروب . السل في مصر.ومثبت في اكادمية البحث العلمي
