1. TREASURER’S REPORT (Placeholder)

It will be recommended that the Board approve the treasurer’s report for the month of September. The treasurer’s report will be provided prior to the regular meeting.

2. SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER PROGRAM (Placeholder)

Approve the extension of the School Resource Officer Program.

3. AWARD OF BID FOR HVAC SERVICES AT WOODLAND

Approve the bid award of a professional services contract to Butler Balancing Company, Inc. for testing, adjusting and balancing, commissioning service for newly installed HVAC equipment in the amount of $35,000.

4. WOODLAND PROJECT CHANGE ORDERS

a) Authorize the following change orders to General Construction Contract, Penn Builders, Inc.:

 Costs associated with modifications to HRU – 2 structural frame supports due to unforeseen conflict with corridor wall in the amount of $1,963.

 Costs associated with removal of existing unsuitable sub base along front bus loop and rear entrance; and installation of PennDOT approved sub base materials at direction of LPT inspection in the amount of $19,814.

b) Authorize the following change orders to HVAC Construction Contract, JBM Mechanical, Inc.:

 Costs associated with additional insulated rooftop ductwork for relocated HRU – 3 from hallway location to art room location which allowed for no disturbance to existing hallway terrazzo floor and SGFT walls in the amount of $35,920.24.

 Costs associated with installation of smoke and fire dampers which are required by code and not shown on contract drawings in the amount of $6,640.86.

a. Emily Fantuzzo, long-term substitute music instructor at Worcester Elementary School. Salary: $46,000 (prorated) based on Masters +15, Step 1. Effective approximately October 16, 2008.

b. Lynn Hadley, long-term substitute business education instructor at Methacton High School. Salary: $45,000 (prorated) based on Masters, Step 1. Effective October 13, 2008 – January 26, 2009.

c. Sara Hart, special education instructor at Woodland Elementary School. Salary: $41,300 (prorated) based on Bachelors, Step 1. Effective Approximately October 16, 2008 through February 18, 2009.

3. EMPLOYMENT – LONG-TERM SUBSTITUTE – CLASSIFIED

a. Linda Heil, long-term substitute instructional assistant at Eagleville Elementary School. Hourly rate of $13.70. Effective October 22, 2008 through March 9, 2009.
