We express our thanks to Dan for his ministry, which we have all greatly enjoyed. Crèche: Most children will be remaining in church today for our family worship. A crèche is available. Parents may take the little ones out after the second singing. Lunch: A bring-and-share buffet lunch is served in the hall after morning service. All are welcome. If you have a dish to share please pop that into the hall before church this morning. Walk: After the lunch (and weather permitting) Jonathan and George have planned a congregational walk along the River Averon to Loch Morie. The walk starts near Boath and takes about two hours and will suit most abilities. All are welcome. Today there is a monthly offering for our OMF partners, the Raes and Sandra MacDonald. Sandra has asked us to pass on her thanks for recent support gifts.

THANKS Our sincere thanks to the minibus drivers and all who helped provide lunch for the lads from the football camp last Sunday. Your care and effort was much appreciated. Minister: God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. ALL: Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. MORNING SONGS - HERE IS LOVE

Here is love, vast as the ocean, On the mount of crucifixion, Lovingkindness as the flood, Fountains opened deep and wide; When the Prince of Life, our Ransom, Through the floodgates of God’s Shed for us His precious blood. mercy Who His love will not remember? Flowed a vast and gracious tide. Who can cease to sing His praise? Grace and love, like mighty rivers, He can never be forgotten, Poured incessant from above, Throughout Heav’n’s eternal days. And Heav’n’s peace and perfect justice Kissed a guilty world in love.

He was pierced for our transgressions and to bring us peace he was punished, and bruised for our iniquities; and by his stripes we are healed. turned each one to his own way, He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and the Lord has laid on him although he was innocent of crime; the iniquity of us all. and cut off from the land of the living, he paid for the guilt that was mine. BENEATH THE CROSS Beneath the cross of Jesus The ones that You have loved? I find a place to stand, Beneath the cross of Jesus And wonder at such mercy See the children called by God. That calls me as I am; For hands that should discard me Beneath the cross of Jesus— Hold wounds which tell me, "Come." The path before the crown— Beneath the cross of Jesus We follow in His footsteps My unworthy soul is won. Where promised hope is found. How great the joy before us Beneath the cross of Jesus To be His perfect bride; His family is my own— Beneath the cross of Jesus Once strangers chasing selfish dreams, We will gladly live our lives. Now one through grace alone. How could I now dishonour Words and Music by Keith & Kristyn Getty Copyright © 2005 Thankyou Music

Pardon for sin ‘Great is thy faithfulness’, and a peace that endureth, Lord, unto me! thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide; 2. Summer and winter, strength for today and springtime and harvest, and bright hope for tomorrow, sun, moon and stars blessings all mine, in their courses above, with ten thousand beside! O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder consider all the works thy hand hath made, I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder, thy power throughout the universe displayed: Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee, how great thou art! How great thou art! Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee, how great thou art! How great thou art!

2. When through the woods and forest glades I wander and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees; when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:

3. And when I think that God—his Son not sparing — sent him to die, I scarce can take it in; that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, he bled and died to take away my sin:

4. When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation and take me home—what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration and there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!
