No peeking behind curtain NO TALKING BACKSTAGE Know your cues Know which side your entrance is for each scene Stay behind the tape If your in the light backstage, you can be seen Stay hidden until your entrance CHEAT OUT Don’t show mistakes on you face PUSH YOUR VOICE STAY IN CHARATER STAGE FEET Slow Frozen behind scrim No coming through the PAC Don’t drop the ends of lines Walk off in character Quit when moving the set Space Know where your props are
(Overture) o Don’t leave the stage empty o Don’t all need to run
(Scene 1) . Heralds- hold your horns the same way
(Scene 2) (Town) . If you can’t get to your spot for your solo, get somewhere you are seen, stop and sing, then continue to your spot . Make sure you have all pieces of your costumes and your props . Hold your poses until the black out
(Scene 3) (Step home) Don’t forget to bring on your set piece No touching your face on stage unless you were told (rubbing your eyes, rubbing your nose, scratching an itch, picking your nails, etc.)
(Scene 4) (Parlor) Have fun Keep going if you mess up If your props or costumes fall leave them till the end of the song and then take them off in character
(Scene 5) (Step home) If something happens to the sound, keep going Be paying attention off stage Be still when you are suppose to be frozen
(Scene 6) (Ball) If something falls, pick it up in character (guys help girls) Don’t adjust costumes on stage, if your not suppose to Don’t watch your feet when dancing Small steps when waltzing Don’t move after waltz Guys keep your elbows up Be proper
(Scene 10) (Wedding)
Swoop dresses Hold your head up Hold your arms up Be proper When you meet your partner, great each other Keep everything moving
(Good jobs) (Just a few) Good transition into the parlor Step-family way to be slow Great dancing at the ball Great job at filling in Love the bows Good job all together Its going to be a great show
