AZ FAIR SHARE'S CAMPUS LEADERSHIP PROJECT

Is working for social change the career path for you? Find out this semester by applying for IL Fair Share's Campus Leadership Project, a 12-week "boot camp for change" that will equip you with practical skills and hands-on experience.

As part of your campus leadership team, you’ll gain practical skills and hands-on experience working on a key issue facing our nation: rebuilding the economy. While political leaders in Washington, DC, negotiate the federal budget, you’ll be amplifying our demand for a fair budget that invests in education and job creation – not more crippling cuts to vital services like Head Start.

Campus leaders will be professionally trained in specific skills, such as:

--> Developing strategic grassroots campaigns --> Volunteer recruitment and leadership development --> Planning social and media events --> Using social media to amplify your voice --> Getting the media to cover your story

If you're an undergraduate or graduate student who’s thinking of any of these as career paths – community organizing, political campaigns, union organizing, legislative advocacy, government – apply for the Campus Leadership Project today. Women, people of color, LGBT persons, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

To apply, please email [email protected] with the subject header INTERN APPLICATION and your name. In the email describe what interests you about the internship and your contact information.

Arizona Fair Share is a group uniting people so that everyone gets a fair shot, pays their fair share, and plays by the same rules. Since we aren’t billionaires and can’t afford high-priced lobbyists, we build and use grassroots power to stand up for our fair share in Tucson, Phoenix, and Washington, DC.
