M. Schlosser Company, Inc., Contract No. DCAM-16-CS- 23 0074, and to authorize payment to W. M. Schlosser Company, Inc., in the 24 aggregate amount of $1,630,088.00 for the goods and services received and to be 25 received under these change orders. 26 27 28 BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA,

29 That this act may be cited as the “W.M. Schlosser Company, Inc. Change Orders Nos. 1

30 and 2 to Contract DCAM-16-CS-0074 Approval and Payment Authorization Emergency

31 Act of 2016”.

32 Sec. 2. Pursuant to section 451 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act,

33 approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 803; D.C. Official Code § 1-204.51), and

34 notwithstanding the requirements of section 202(a) of the Procurement Practices Reform

35 Act of 2010, effective April 8, 2011 (D.C. Law 18-371; D.C. Official Code § 2-

36 352.02(a)), and notwithstanding the requirements of section 202 of the Procurement

37 Practices Reform Act of 2010, effective April 8, 2011 (D.C. Law 18-371; D.C. Official

38 Code § 2-352.02), the Council approves Change Order Nos. 1 and 2 to Contract No.

39 DCAM-16-CS-0074 with W.M. Schlosser Company, Inc. for infrastructure work in 1 connection with the future DC United Soccer Stadium in the aggregate amount of

2 $1,630,088.00, and authorizes payment for the goods and services received and to be

3 received under these change orders.

4 Sec. 3. The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement provided by the Office of

5 the Chief Financial Officer as the fiscal impact statement required by section 4a of the

6 General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975, approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038;

7 D.C. Official Code § 1-304.47a).

8 Sec. 4. This act shall take effect following approval by the Mayor (or in the

9 event of veto by the Mayor, action by the Council to override the veto), and shall remain

10 in effect for no longer than 90 days, as provided for emergency acts of the Council of the

11 District of Columbia in section 412(a) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act,

12 approved December 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 788; D.C. Official Code § 1-204.12(a)).
