PREPARATION FOR WORSHIP To God Be the Glory/My Tribute arr. by Chrystal Clay Please take this time to quietly meditate on the following Scripture passage as you prepare your heart to worship the Lord. For whatever was written in the former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4 (ESV)

INTROIT Sweet Joy by James Ward

PRAYER OF CONFESSION After the public confession below, you are encouraged to confess your sins silently to God. O Lord, my every sense, member, faculty, and affection, is a snare to me. I can scarce open my eyes but I envy those above me, or despise those below. I covet the honor and riches of the mighty, and am proud and unmerciful to the rags of others. Am I comely? What fuel for pride! Am I gifted? How I lust after applause! Am I unlearned? How I despise what I have not! You know that all these are snares by my corruptions, and that my greatest snare is myself. Keep me ever mindful of my natural state, but let me not forget my heavenly title, or the grace that can deal with every sin.

COMFORT AND ASSURANCE OF THE GOSPEL Psalm 32:5 (ESV) I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. *For those who are able, please stand. MINISTRY UPDATE Ministry Team Leaders

*GREETING OF PEACE Romans 5:1-2 (ESV) Please take this opportunity to greet those around you, offering them the right hand of fellowship and the peace which is only found in Christ. Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER Ephesians 6:18 (ESV) [Pray] at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

WORSHIPING THE LORD WITH HIS TITHES AND OUR OFFERINGS Please take a moment to sign our “Fellowship Pad” and pass it along to those worshiping with you. Thank you! The offering is a vital part of our response to God and God’s Word. It helps us connect our adoration for God with our life of discipleship. Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 (ESV)
