Attendance: Trevor Miller, Shaun Kruger, Roger Niemeyer, Tami Valline, Dan Marburger, Sara Locker, Amy McCord, Torey Olson, Joel Martin, Kevin Vidergar

Meeting Minutes

1. Call the Teacher Quality Committee meeting to order  The meeting was called to order at 7:22 a.m.

2. Approval of the agenda  Trevor motioned and Roger seconded approving the agenda as written.

3. Discuss and approve budget for teacher quality professional development dollars (Refer to pages 3-8)  The committee discussed the proposed budget and supporting documentation of how funds have been spent previously. As a result of this discussion the committee made three motions: 1. A motion was made that carry over amounts will remain with the building that accrued it. The Director of Teaching and Learning will keep track of building level expenses, send quarterly updates to the principals, and track carryover by each building. Motioned by Trevor, seconded by Joel, and approved by the entire committee. 2. A motion was made to keep $8,000 as carryover and all funds in this line item above $8,000 will be distributed evenly across the district, elementary, middle, and high school. Motioned by Roger, seconded by Shaun, and approved by the entire committee. . Kevin will send the new budget figures to the committee. 3. A motion was made to not include Teacher Quality dollars as part of the budget for the Teacher Leadership Grant. Motioned by Trevor, seconded by Dan, and approved by the entire committee. . Kevin will remove this line item from the Teacher Leadership Grant application.

4. Adjournment  A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:13 a.m. Motioned by Joel, seconded by Roger, and approved by the entire committee.
