STLLAGUAMISH TRIBAL HUNTING OPEN IN GMU’s 203, 218, 244, 245, 249, 336, 346, 407, 410, 418, 426, 437, 448, 450, 454, 460, 466, 485, 490, 627, 653
Without waiving any claim or legal argument with respect to the nature, scope or geographic extent of the Stillaguamish Tribe’s Treaty hunting rights, the eastern border of that area which will be open for hunting will be the pacific crest trail or the eastern borders of Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King and Pierce counties, whichever is furthest east. Portions of the GMU’s that apply to this description are: 203, 218, 244, 245, 249, 336, 346, 426, 448, 450, 460, 466

*SPECIAL PERMITS A special bull elk hunt in GMU 418 will occur for the 2011-12 hunting season. Only hunter/hunters with the special GMU 418 bull permit can take an elk from this GMU. All other elk hunting in GMU 418 shall remain closed. Special bull permits may consist of subsistence or ceremonial permit.
Mountain goat closed to subsistence hunting. Ceremonial permit may be issued for males only. TRIBAL LANDS All Stillaguamish Tribal lands in Snohomish County west of HWY 9 are archery, muzzleloader, shotgun and pistol only, unless otherwise posted or by Council Resolution. The eighty acre property on 55th Ave. owned by the Tribe is archery only.
