“ TRA-VESTIMENTI, from myth to tale to fashion a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen”
• Opening ceremony: 15th March, La Triennale di Milano – V.le Alemagna, 6 – Milano from 6,30 pm at invitation
Mifur opens Tra-vestimenti, a container exhibition that goes through myth and tale in order to reach, in an unusual and magic tribute to the master of dreams Hans Christian Andersen, the imagination and the dream of fashion. Kept in 15 boxes, the tales of Andersen are told and interpreted by the creations of the designers, who represent them by choosing a detail symbol of the dream held inside each of them, turning it into a garment to be worn, carrying inside the tale and the dream.

“ THE SNOW QUEEN ”- Free to be Unusual -
• 15th March, La Triennale di Milano – V.le Alemagna, 6 – Milano at 6,30 pm at invitation
Annabella, Artico, Avanti Furs, Cavaggioni, Coveri, Egon Von Furstenberg by Ciolini 1976, Henry Fisher – Ponticello Milano, Jun, Landi Pret-a.Porter, Mala Matì by Centro Bel Furs, Mazzi Overwear, Rindi, Swakara, Thes Tziveli, Tsoukas Bros e Vinicio Pajaro.
The designers that have interpreted the tales of Andersen in Tra-Vestimenti, defile on the catwalk, but above all their Snow Queen, fil rouge of the fashion show and of the evening. 9 exits for each designer ending with the interpretation of the tale of Andersen of a woman who, when wearing fur, becomes a queen.

“ REMIX ”
• 17th March, La Triennale di Milano – V.le Alemagna, 6 – Milano at 7,30pm at invitation
A competition, a prize-giving evening that becomes a party, made of music, image and imagination, to celebrate a world “photographed” in its choices and tendencies of consumption, among new aesthetic concepts and…of fashion. For the third year Mifur, the International Fur Exhibition, becomes the platform of the young event Remix, the closing evening and peak of the competition for young designers promoted by IFTF – International Fur Trade Federation in collaboration with Mifur. 37 creations, three finalists, one winner of Remix ’06, on the background of the Imaginary Remix research, by the sociologist Francesco Morace.

“ FUR ON THE ROCKS ”
• 18th March, Ice Bar – P.zza Gerusalemme, 12 – Milano at 7,00 pm at invitation
A wish for the next 06/07 Autumn/Winter season, all together under the aegis of AIP – Associazione Italiana Pellicceria and SAGA FURS, that together organize a final toast between ice and fur, for a Fur on the Rocks projected into next Winter, as protagonist.
