Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting Held in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Sheringham

MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER, TOWN HALL, SHERINGHAM, ON TUESDAY 6 TH DECEMBER, 2011 AT 7.30PM.

PRESENT: The Chairman – Cllr L A McGinn The Vice Chairman – Cllr S Booth Cllrs Smith, Hill, Brooks, Cox, Frazer and Talbot. The Clerk and Deputy Clerk One Member of the Public The Press

1. TO CONSIDER AND RECEIVE APOLOGIES: Cllrs Hewitt, Burns and Stevens.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST RELATING TO ITEMS ON THE AGENDA: Cllr Brooks declared a personal interest in Item 2555d – she is known to the applicant. The Vice Chairman declared a personal interest in item 2784 – he is known to the applicant. Cllr Hill declared a personal interest in Item 2785 – he is known to the applicant.

3. TO ACCEPT THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 15 TH NOVEMBER, 2011: The Minutes of the meeting having been previously circulated, Cllr Cox PROPOSED acceptance of the Minutes of the meeting held on 15th November, 2011, Cllr Hill seconded. IT WAS AGREED.

4. TO COMMENT ON THE FOLLOWING PLANNING APPLICATIONS:

No 2555(d) PF/11/1385 Mrs Y Homan, Homan Property Investments, 4 Campion Way, Sheringham Proposal: Demolition of Former Public House and Erection of Three Two Storey Dwellings (Extension of Period for Commencement of Permission Reference 08/0937) at 18 Beech Avenue, Sheringham Comment: No Objection

No 2401(c) PF/11/1377 Broadland Housing Association, Carrow Road, Norwich Proposal: Erection of 4 Semi Detached Houses, 2 Semi Detached Bungalows and 2 Flats at Former Depot, Blowlands Lane, Upper Sheringham Comment: No Objection

No 2784 PF/11/1386 Mr E Denny, Foxhill, Sheringwood, Beeston Regis, Proposal: Conversion of Workshop to Two Units of Holiday Accommodation at Denny Construction, Sheringwood, Beeston Regis Comment: No Objection No 2785 PF/1/1396 Mrs J Hewitt, 12 Meadow Way, Sheringham Proposal: Erection of Rear Extension at 12 Meadow Way, Sheringham Comment: No Objection

5. ANY OTHER PLANNING MATTERS: The Chairman reported he will be making enquiries into the Skatepark Committee Planning Application and advise NNDC of this Council’s full support.

6. TO DETERMINE WHICH PLANNING APPLICATIONS THE CHAIRMAN WILL REPRESENT STC’S COMMENTS AT THE NEXT NNDC DEVELOPMENT CONTROL MEETING: There were none on this occasion.
