Science Landform Project Due Date: Monday, February 16, 2015 You will create a three-dimensional model of Earth’s landforms and water features and present your model to the class. You may use clay, foam, Styrofoam, construction paper, or other materials. Do not use food of any kind or ready-made trees, people, or animals. You may paint or decorate your project. Use your Social Studies book pages 148-149 and the additional landform sheet to help you. You will be graded both on the project and the presentation. For the actual project, you will be graded on whether you followed the requirements. For the presentation, you will be graded on your knowledge of the definitions of the landforms and water features. You will also need to tell about the materials in your model and how you used the materials. Remember to have fun making your project!

Requirements:

1. Your name must be visible (not on the bottom).

2. Your project may not be larger than 12 x 17 inches. Points will be deducted if it does not meet the size requirements.

3. Your project must be three-dimensional.

4. Your project must include 5 land features individually labeled with each landform’s name. You may not include more than 5 features or points will be deducted.

5. Your project must include 5 water features individually labeled with each water feature’s name. You may not include more than 5 features or points will be deducted.

6. You must be able to give the definition for each landform and water feature on the project by memory.
