1. Don Ray of Deubrook called the meeting to order 2. Motion by DeSmet, Second by ORR to approve the minutes of the meeting on March 20, 2006. All in favor, motion carried. 3. Motion by Elkton, Second by Lake Preston to approve the financial statement. All in favor, motion carried. 4. Enrollment and admission

5. Oral Interp  Tuesday October 3, 2006 9:00 a.m. at Arlington 6. Cross Country  Wednesday October 4, 2006 2:00 p.m. at DeSmet 7. Volleyball Tournament  October 14, 2006 9:00 p.m. at Lake Preston  Seeding is due to the conference secretary no later than 12:00 p.m. on October 9  Post your games to the SDHSAA web site and the seeds will be taken from there at 12:01 p.m. October 9, 2006. No need to send them in. 8. Football  Reminder to the coaches that all-conference selections will follow the constitution  Coaches will send the secretary their all conference selections based on conference standings by Friday following the last regular season contest 9. Football schedule for 2007-08 seasons  The proposed master schedule was discussed.  Motion by Elkton second by ORR to table discussion and have the chairman and secretary develop a schedule that would allow the smaller schools to play each other and the larger schools to play each other every year. All in favor, motion carried. 10. BB Tournament Format  The proposed change to the BB tournament format was discussed.  Motion by ORR second by DeSmet to have the schools go back and discuss the change with their coaches and have the ADs make a decision at the December meeting. All in favor, motion carried. 11. Track  Varsity – May 10, 2007 @ Estelline Field Events @ 1:30/Running Events @ 2:00 – Coaches meeting @ 1:00 o Rain Date: May 11, 2007 o Starter: Steve Charron Asst. Starter: Troy Prohl o Pole Vault will be in Estelline the day of the meet o Entries will be required to be submitted using the Hy-Tek program  Jr Hi – May 3, 2007 @ Estelline Field Events @ 3:00/Running Events @ 3:30 o Starter: TBD 12.
