Dee Gordon drove in the Marlins’ first run of the game on a double in the third inning, marking his first game-winning RBI of the season. Gordon also extended his hitting streak to eight games (.429/15x35), one short of his season high (9 games; April 5-14). Derek Dietrich hit his second home run of the season, a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning. The home run was the Marlins’ 30th long ball of the year at Marlins Park, where they have out-homered opponents 30-23 this season. JT Riddle extended his hitting streak to four games (.333/5x15), tying his career high. J.T. Realmuto extended his home hitting streak against the Phillies to six games (.391/9x23). Aaron Altherr picked up his 27th RBI of the season (21st in May), driving in the Phillies’ lone run of the game on a single in the sixth inning.
