TOWERS HIGH SCHOOL 1970’s Multi-Year REUNION Hosted by the Classes of 1973 and 1974

Can you believe it’s been approximately 40 years since we’ve walked the halls of Towers High School? If you’ve attended previous reunions, you know how much fun it’s been seeing old friends and reminiscing, and if you haven’t attended a reunion, well you’ve missed out and you’ve been missed! Our upcoming reunion will be held at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Hotel (formerly the Gwinnett Place Marriott Hotel), located at 1775 Pleasant Hill Rd., Duluth, GA 30096 on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 7:00PM until 12:00AM. Please reserve the date on your calendar! A heavy hors d’ oeuvres buffet with coffee and tea will be provided and a cash bar will be available. Suggested attire is casual nice to casual dressy. Titan Ken Jones (THS 80) will DJ the event spinning hits from the 1970’s and we plan on having a photographer on hand to take class photos. Call, text, and email your 70’s era Titan friends and Titan siblings with the news, and plan on joining us for the evening!

The cost is $72 a person or $144 a couple. All reservation fees must reach us no later than July 20, 2013 to be considered paid in advance. Admittance to the reunion is not guaranteed without a paid reservation since the committee must pay all costs (deposits, copying, mailing, venue, food, DJ, nametags, etc.) associated with the reunion prior to the reunion. We’re required to submit and pay for an accurate number of attendees prior to the reunion in order to provide an adequate sized ballroom and catering for everyone. If you’re interested in staying overnight, please call the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Hotel (formerly the Marriott at Gwinnett Place as of May 17th) directly at 770-923-1775 or 1-855-463-3095 to make hotel room reservations. If you made reservations with the Marriott at Gwinnett Place prior to the hotel name changing to Sonesta Gwinnett Place, all reservations will be automatically transferred over and the Titan rates are being honored and you don’t need to do anything. If you haven’t made reservations yet and need to, a block of rooms has been reserved in the “Towers Reunion” name. These rooms are available at a discounted rate of $85 a night as long as your reservations are made BEFORE July 20, 2013. Be sure to mention the Towers High School Reunion and ask for the discounted rate. Check in time is 4:00PM and check out time is 12:00PM.
