Parental input from the parent meetings and training sessions will be shared with the School Improvement Council (SIC) to provide an organized, ongoing, timely way of involving parents in the planning, review, and decision-making for improvement of the program.
During parent meetings, opportunities will be provided for parental suggestions. These suggestions will be reviewed in a timely fashion and, if possible, responses will be given by the next scheduled meeting. Topics that are appropriate for SIC review/action will be placed on the agenda for the next regularly scheduled meeting by the school administration.
Stall parents will be provided with: o School and individual assessment information and results, including an explanation of those results, o Information about curriculum and the levels students are expected to achieve, o Opportunities for regular meetings related to the education of their children, and o Timely responses to parent inquiries and suggestions.
The school wide parent newsletter is mailed home informing parents/community of all meetings of interest. The school newsletter is used to advertise parent meetings and training sessions offered at Stall High School.
Parents are notified annually of individual student assessment results by Stall’s Guidance Department and/or the Stall Administration. A cover letter is sent with the results and conferences are set up with all students who do not meet the requirements.
Please keep this document for your records and frequent review.
