Become an intern on our award-winning internship scheme and work with our Evaluation and Impact team to support the planning and delivery of evaluations across Macmillan. Your enthusiasm, initiative and drive will make a massive difference to Macmillan and, ultimately, to the lives of people affected by cancer. About the role Working within Macmillan’s Evidence Department, the Evaluation and Impact team provides advice to Macmillan staff about how to best measure the value of their services and programmes. You will join the Evaluation and Impact team and work with them across a range of projects to support the team in their work. As part of this role you will:

 Support the development of monitoring and evaluation plans, with guidance from our team

 Help us plan workshops and training on theories of change and evaluation

 Develop and assist workshops that embed and share learning related to our annual learning report

 Support us to meet our strategic priorities and objectives

Preferred qualities and skills  Strong written and verbal communication

 Exceptional organisational skills

 Confidence in working as part of a team

 The ability to work independently but with guidance and support and be able to recognise when to seek advice/help

 Most importantly, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

How much time should I give?

 3-4 days a week between Monday and Friday - 27th February to 19th May 2017

 Flexible times and days to suit you

 This role is based at Macmillan’s Head Office, 89 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7UQ, with opportunities for home working when appropriate.
