Program Description: The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in IT Security Associate program is designed to help to prepare students for a variety of industry-recognized information technology (IT) security certification exams as well as to provide practical hands-on skills for the work place. The program also includes fundamental knowledge and skills in system administration, network administration, IT management and compliance necessary to inform the practices of IT security.
Program Notes: *Indicates any approved general education course in the core or distribution area that meets the minimum requirements for an Associates of Applied Science degree is allowed. Please refer to the college catalog for a list of approved courses. Students must earn a grade of "C" or better for all courses within the program.
Program Pathway Notes: Program sequence is based on a full-time student schedule (12 credits or more per semester). If you are a part-time student, the order of these classes will be helpful but it will take additional terms to complete. This version of the program will be used for advising and student planning purposes. Any developmental course requirements should be completed prior to starting the courses listed below as they may be required for enrollment in courses listed in the term sequence.
