Dear Young Life Supporter:

Fall Greetings! I want to let you know about the amazing things that have been happening with Young Life so far this fall. To kick off the school year we had The Escape, an alcohol-free alternative for teens on the first Friday night of school. Over 150 kids that came out to dance, play games, bounce and pose for funny photos. We as a staff have hit the ground running meeting kids where they are; cheering them on at sporting events and sharing conversations over food, coffee, and one last ice cream before the snow hits.

We are so excited to share that after five years, through God’s provision and the incredible support from donors like you, we were able to erase a $17,000 deficit that we have been carrying. As a staff, this past year much of our time and energy was spent helping to raise the local area budget and erase this deficit. October 1st marks the beginning of our fiscal year and our prayer for a healthy year. How many more kids could we reach and how much more could we do in Syracuse if we could focus more on kids and less on raising money?

There are TWO ways that you guys could help us start the year off right.

November 16 at Eastern Hills Enders Road Building at 7:00pm we’re having a Young Life Entertainment Night. We need your support to make the night a success.

1. Underwrite the cost of the evening by becoming an Event Sponsor. We are looking for four different types of sponsors at various levels.  Bronze – $500  Silver – $1000  Gold - $2500  Platinum – $5000 to sponsor this night as well as the Caz Basket Brunch, JD Brunch, and FM event. You’ll be recognized in the programs for all four of these events. It’s a great way to highlight your business. 2. Fill the Enders Road Campus with parents, kids, donors and friends who will not only laugh, but be inspired to participate with our mission through giving time and resources to help us reach kids. Tickets for the event will be $15. We have learned that a small ticket price ensures that people are committed to coming to an event versus offering a night for free.

We would love for you to help make this night a success by sponsoring and/or inviting your friends to be with us. Our vision for the night is that we could take some time to celebrate the impact that Young Life has had here in the community and take some time to celebrate those that have been involved. We also hope to unite and have vision for continuing to grow and maintain the ministry of Young Life here today. Use the attached form to commit to your role in the evening’s success.

Platinum Your donation includes a sponsorship of all Young Life events $5,000 (YL Entertainment Night, FM brunch, JD brunch and Caz Brunch) in the calendar year and special recognition in our programs throughout the year. Gold Your donation includes sponsorship of Young Life’s $2,500 entertainment night and special recognition in the program. Silver Your donation includes sponsorship of Young Life’s $1,000 entertainment night and recognition in the program. Bronze Your donation includes sponsorship of Young Life’s $500 entertainment night and business or family name printed in the program.
