SUMMARY:

In order to run an application using any type of the Client Tools clients provided by Component Enabler, you need to specify a RATL View.

This document is a quick guide to creating a RATL View for an Agile Business Suite (AB Suite) Application deployed for Windows Runtime.

Create a View for Windows Runtime In order to run an application using any type of Client Tools client provided by Component Enabler, you need to specify a RATL View.

For CLR Runtime, the Administration Tool can be used to specify a RATL View. The Administration Tool is installed with AB Suite Developer or Runtime.

(1) Start Administration Tool.

Start -> All Programs -> Agile Business Suite 1.x -> Runtime or Development Environment -> Administration Tool

(2) Right-click the Views icon on the left side pane, select New and then View....

View Name = sample (case sensitive) System Name = SAMPLE (should be the same as schema name) Runtime Server = (You can use "localhost")

And then, tick RATL over TCP/IP check box.

Click OK to create the view.

RATL View will be created immediately. Click the Refresh button to update the window.

Note that the System Name above should be the same as the following:

Right-click your server name, select All Tasks, and select Configure Adapters...

The Configure Adapter dialog box will then appear. You can confirm or change the port number.
