Open Jump Style and Dressage Competition

Novice and nervous riders especially welcome!

Dressage – all tests can be called but a small prize will be given to all riders who complete the test from memory! Class 1a D level test (walk + trot only) – lead rein )enter only 1a OR 1b Class 1b D level test (walk + trot only) – no lead rein ) £4

Class 2 D level 2 test £4

Class 3 C level test2 £5

Class 4 Introductory dressage test 2007 £5

Class 5 Novice Eventing Test 2009 £5

Class 6 Pairs dressage – make up your own test £3 each (£6 per pair) . Include halt and salute at end, walk, trot and long rein walk and be no longer than 4 minutes. NO canter. Judged on pattern, working as pair, good movements eg accurate circles. Lead reins allowed.

Jump style – the course will be run over show jumps for the first half to be followed directly by working hunter jumps which are to be jumped as if going cross country. It is judged on faults (as in show jumping), rider’s position and how the course is jumped. There is no jump off. Optional group course walk before each class G and H

Class G 1ft 3 - lead rein/assisted, max 6 jumps £6

Class H 2ft - max 8 jumps £6.

Class I 2ft 3 – 2ft 6 – full course £7

Class J 2ft 6 – 2ft 9 – full course £7

Class K 2ft 9 – 3ft – full course £7

Class L 3ft – 3ft 3 – full course £7 Entry fee : Combined Training Dressage and Jump and Style

Class 1G £10 Class 2H £10

Classes 3I – 5K or 5L £12

All riding club members will pay £1 more per class and £2 for Combined training

There will be £ 2 for First Aid cover per person

Entries close Monday 12 th August Dressage times will be sent by email and posted on our web-site (please write clearly!!)

 Prizes – cups will be awarded to highest placed SDW rider in each dressage test (including pairs).  Rosettes awarded to 6th place in all classes.  Rider Sashs for first place combined training
