Position: ELearning Specialist Reports to: Vice President for Organizational Development

Job Summary: Administer the eLearning strategy within the WRC Group. Tasks include develop eLearning curriculum, content development, instructional design, LMS management, and ongoing maintenance of eLearning programs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities  Develop eLearning curriculum for both management and operational programs  Develops new eLearning training modules within the LMS platform  Maintain accurate records of eLearning training for all employees  Make recommendations on creative new delivery methods  Maintain schedule of all courses available  Create engaging lesson plans for eLearning training topics  Create digital evaluations to test competency of learning objectives

Other Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Skills Requirement  Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Instructional Design or Organizational Development  Good understanding of Insurance processes  Minimum 3-4 years of experience creating eLearning courses, including storyboards and final produced modules preferably in the insurance industry  Expertise in Adobe Captivate & Camtasia or other eLearning software to build eLearning courses and demonstrations  Experience developing training materials in an insurance environment  Demonstrated expertise in eLearning instructional design and adult learning theory  Experience integrating with learning management systems including creating SCORM compliant files and troubleshooting SCORM compliance issues  Comfort with learning technologies (e.g., LMS, authoring tools, media editing tools, etc.)  Strong written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills  Ability to work individually and in a team in a fast-paced environment
