HOW TO BOOK AN AIRLINE TICKET FOR TRAVEL For Staff and Students from Plant Biology –– 00763
Tertiary Travel is our preferred travel booking provider.
Phone 6488 2721 [email protected] http://www.finserv.uwa.edu.au/page/25078
Tertiary Travel will only accept booking requests with an official UWA purchase order. This prevents bookings made without purchasing office approval.
1. The traveler arranges a Travel Approval Form and submits it to the Plant Biology office. After signature, this will be emailed to the Purchasing Office.
2. The traveler will contact Tertiary Travel and negotiate all travel details with them. Tertiary travel will then send an itinerary with pricing to the traveler.
3. The traveler then forwards the itinerary received from Tertiary Travel to the purchasing office specifying the Business Unit No. and the Project Grant No. to charge ([email protected]).
The email should also state the supervisor’s name and approval for purchasing the ticket.
It is important that the Purchasing Officer has the complete documentation otherwise he/she will not be able to process your request.
The Travel Approval Form can be found at the following link http://www.finserv.uwa.edu.au/home?f=223527
4. The Purchasing Officer will create the purchase order and email it to Tertiary travel for processing and copy it to the traveler for his/her own record.
5. Tertiary Travel will send a booking confirmation to the traveler.
The School of Plant Biology is very proud of the working environment it provides to its staff and students. Your contribution to uphold this standard is much appreciated.
Following procedures makes us more efficient and we can provide a better service.
