Premium wheel manufacturer BBS will be showcasing its products together with the Swiss importer Carex at the Geneva International Motor Show (March 5-15, in Hall 7, Stand 7450/Gate 729). The event will see the premiere of the CI-R high-performance wheel in a new platinum silver finish. The weight-optimized wheel, with its concave shape, follows the current trend and comes in the attractive Y-spoke design. The proven flow-forming technology and backmilled spokes turn the CI-R into an absolute lightweight construction wheel. Due to this, it weighs in even lighter than the BBS classic CH-R. The three molds used in the production of the 20-inch wheel ensure three different concavities. Particularly concave here are the rear axle wheels. Of course the CI-R, like all BBS cast wheels, is 100 percent produced in Germany.

The wheel is only available in the color platinum silver created especially for the design CI-R, and is sold in sizes 8.5 x 20, 9 x 20, 9.5 x 20, 10 x 20 and 10.5 x 20 inches, namely with a General Operating Permit (German abbreviation: ABE) and laser engraved KBA number. A 19-inch version is still being planned. The BBS logo is also lasered on the outer rim. The wheel is available starting from 540 Euro (non-binding retail price including value added tax).

The new BBS design is for cars in the premium class such as Audi (including S and RS), BMW (including M-models), Mercedes (including AMG) or Tesla. The focus of the exhibition in Geneva will be a BMW M4 equipped with the new CI-R wheel. BBS also offers attractive combinations for Hyundai, Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan as well as Citroën, Peugeot, Renault, Opel and VW.

At the Geneva International Motor Show, BBS and Carex will also offer visitors an insight into the range of wheels from the premium manufacturer. A Jaguar F- Type is fitted with the two-piece version of the classic CH-R design in 21 inch.
